Oldham man charged with rape and voyeurism

An Oldham man is one of two men charged in connection with serious sexual offences against a woman in Cheshire. The charges relate to an alleged assault on woman in June this year.

In a statement Cheshire Constabulary said: "Abdulrahman Hassan, aged 21, of Eden Street in Oldham has been charged with assault by penetration, two counts of rape and voyeurism.

"Abu Bakir Musa, aged 20, of Dyke Street, Hanley in Stoke-on-Trent has been charged with assault by penetration, rape and voyeurism.

"Both men were remanded in custody and appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Thursday 13 October before being further remanded in custody. They will appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday 10 November 2022

"The charges relate to a serious sexual assault of a woman that occurred on 12 June 2022 inside a property in Winsford."
