Oasis issue pre-sale ticket ballot update - and a warning to fans

If you're nervously refreshing your inbox waiting to see if you've bagged Oasis pre-sale tickets, you can stop now. All ballot codes have now been sent out to fans, the band have confirmed.

That means if you've not got one by now, you'll have to take you chances when tickets go on general sale at 9am tomorrow. In a statement the band also warned fans not to sell or swap the codes, as they'll only work with the registered email address.

The statement read: "All Ticket Ballot codes have now been sent out to fans. Please do NOT buy a code or transfer them to someone else.

"Codes ONLY work with the registered email address. If you didn't get a code to access the pre-sale, you can join the general sale tomorrow morning."

The UK presale will take place between 7pm and 10pm tonight (August 30). There will be a massive clamour for tickets both this evening and tomorrow when general sale goes live.

It comes as fans expressed their concern about timings for the presale and whether or not they would be successful in the ballot, which was extended this week due to 'unprecedented' demand.

On Tuesday, it was announced Oasis had got back together for a world tour, starting off with numerous dates across the UK and Ireland. Next July and August, they'll play Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin.
