Oasis confirm exact time presale tickets will go on sale on Friday

The exact timings of the Oasis presale have been confirmed. Fans have started receiving ballot codes for the presale taking place today for the hotly anticipated reunion tour via email this morning.

Those who have been successful in the ballot have been told that the UK presale will take place between 7pm and 10pm tonight (August 30). There will be a massive clamour for tickets both this evening and tomorrow when general sale goes live.

It comes as fans expressed their concern about timings for the presale and whether or not they would be successful in the ballot, which was extended this week due to 'unprecedented' demand.

On Tuesday, it was announced that the Britpop icons will be embarking on a world tour, starting off with numerous dates across the UK and Ireland. Next July and August, they'll play Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin.

While general sale tickets are available from 9am on Saturday (August 31) from Ticketmaster and See Tickets, many are hoping to have a chance of securing them earlier as part of today's presale.

It comes after some fans originally got an email after applying in the pre-sale ballot, informing them that winners would receive their code by 12pm on Friday. Another then had a notification saying their code could land anytime before a later time of 5pm today.

The ballot required fans to answer a special selection of questions before those randomly chosen to get a code will be informed. Fans were initially told the registration was open until 7pm on Wednesday (August 28).
