Nyatama confident in Swallows revival
After Kaizer Chiefs condemned Swallows to their fifth defeat of the campaign, The Birds now find themselves rock bottom in the DStv Premiership.
Despite the negativity surrounding Swallows, Musa Nyatama, who took over as a player/coach, is confident that fortunes will improve and believes his side should build from the second half's performance against AmaKhosi.
"I think we were scared in the first half to concede, which happened anyway. But in the second half I felt we played well and we took the game to them (Swallows lost 2-1). I think we should build from this second half going forward," Nyatama told reporters.
With Nyatama's lack of coaching experience, he was questioned whether the players would follow his instructions. However, he maintains full belief in them and their qualities.
"The players are responding well, the respect I get from them, I appreciate it a lot. They are good players who I believe will come out of this situation so the mission is possible for us to come out of this situation."
With games coming thick and fast, Swallows' next game is against TS Galaxy on Saturday.
"It's difficult for us, but we just need to win our games, that's the only thing. We're playing again on Saturday. We just need to get the three points, that's all we need," concluded Nyatama.
