NRL streaker: Female pitch invader wiped out by security guard
Australian Rugby League fan Javon Johanson garnered international attention over the weekend after a clip of her streaking during Saturday’s NRL match between the Parramatta Eels and the Gold Coast Titans went viral.
In an effort to fulfill what she later revealed was a lifelong dream, Johanson sprinted half the length of the Cbus Super Stadium in Queensland wearing just a bra and a pair of jeans, before she was approached by security.
The 28-year-old managed to give one steward the slip, but could do nothing to escape the attentions of a further security guard who brutally wiped her out with a bone-crunching tackle.
The hit was so severe that it drew a collective gasp from fans in all four stands around the ground. Players from both sides were also visibly astounded as they watched Johanson get driven to the turf.
Parramatta halfback Mitchell Moses, who was lining up a kick at goal at the time, can be seen raising his hands to his head in disbelief at the collision in the footage below.
