Live updates as huge fire engulfs containers and vehicles on industrial estate
Firefighters are battling a blaze at an industrial park near Bridgend. South Wales Fire Service was called at 6.12pm on Monday to the Village Farm estate in Pyle.
A control room operator for the fire service told WalesOnline the fire involved three "ISO" freight containers and two vehicles. She said four fire engines and two water bowsers were in attendance alongside two fire service officers in separate vehicles.
"We're using two hose reel jets, two main jets and two breathing apparatuses," she said at around 7.20pm. "Police are in attendance for traffic control. It's very much ongoing." You can get more Bridgend news and other story updates by subscribing to our newsletters here.

South Wales Police have been approached for more information about the fire at the industrial estate on Village Farm Road.
