Nottingham Forest told they 'won't fancy' coming to Sheffield United for play-off semi-final

Former players Chris Morgan and Kevin Gage believe Bramall Lane is not a place Nottingham Forest will want to visit when they arrive for the first leg of their play-off semi-final. The Blades romped to a 4-0 victory over champions Fulham on Saturday in front of a sell-out crowd that secured a top six finish.

Sheffield United have lost just once in S2 under Paul Heckingbottom, with the 2-1 defeat to Reading in April the only defeat in 14 home matches. It's been a real fortress under the current boss and that is certainly an advantage Heckingbottom and his players are going to look to lean on when Forest make the trip up the M1 on Saturday.

Morgan, who is no stranger to big matches at Bramall Lane having captained the side to promotion to the Premier League under Neil Warnock in 2006, can already see the difference from the early part of the season, when they won just three games here under Slavisa Jokanovic.

"When teams come to Bramall Lane you are in a game," he told SUTV Live. "You are not just coming here to play your style and you can take control. No, you're coming to Bramall Lane and you are going to be up against it. From the minute you get off that bus outside and you walk into that tunnel area you know you're in a game.

"Over the years, the amount of players that we used to play against who used to hate coming to Bramall Lane. Early part of the season I think teams were enjoying coming to Bramall Lane. They were having a stride out, the pitch was nice and they were playing their style and that never cuts it. There's 30,000 people out there who will tell you that that doesn't cut it."
