Nottingham Forest told they may 'regret' decision as transfer confirmed

Some Nottingham Forest supporters fear that the Reds may come to 'regret' letting Tobias Figueiredo leave after the defender's free transfer to Hull City was confirmed.

The 28-year-old has signed a two-year contract on Humberside after being released by Forest. Figueiredo made 26 appearances in the Championship last season and has yet to be replaced by the Reds so far this summer.

Levi Colwill, Joe Rodon, Moussa Niakhate have both been linked, but should neither deal come to fruition then Steve Cooper 's side could be left short at the back. Here is a selection of the reaction from our Forest Facebook page to Figueiredo's move to Hull.

Good luck Figs. Absolute professional, never complained at Forest and was immense when Cook got injured.

Always felt he was a solid defender. Doesn’t have as many mistakes in him as people suggest. Is he a CB to start every game for a promotion-winning team? No. Is he someone that improves 90% of championship teams? Absolutely! All the best Figs! You did yourself proud!

Think you’re better than Hull City, Figs, but all the best!!!

Deserves to be playing every week. Gave everything for Forest and was faultless when called upon this season. Wish him the best.

Did us proud. Good look for the future, Figs.

Good luck, Figs. Thanks for all you did for our great club. Hope everything goes well for you at Hull.

Liked him, might regret it, hope not, but good luck, Figs.

Good luck, Figs, true professional and I thought he gave us his all when called upon.

Never a fan of him on the pitch but a sound professional and bloke. Really stepped up towards the end of the promotion campaign. Best of luck to him at Hull.
