Nottingham Forest now 'really close' to signing £50k-a-week star at City Ground

Nottingham Forest are ‘really close’ to sealing a deal which will see Wolverhampton Wanderers star Willy Boly head to the City Ground and discussions are being held today, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

The newly-promoted side have been busy throughout the summer window, having spent more than £140million on fresh faces, but boss Steve Cooper could secure further reinforcements ahead of Thursday’s 11pm deadline.

Romano understands that Forest are on the verge of unveiling Boly as their latest acquisition.

The respected Italian journalist is aware that the 31-year-old’s wage demands have already been met by last season’s Championship play-off winners, but talks are ongoing over a transfer fee.

Romano told GIVEMESPORT: “They’re waiting to complete the deal for Boly to Nottingham Forest. That is really close.

“They’re discussing it today because the player already agreed personal terms with Nottingham Forest, so now they’re
