'Nobody better' - Manchester United fans react after Victor Osimhen equals Harry Kane tally with Napoli brace

Manchester United fans were excited to see Victor Osimhen net league goals number 20 and 21 for the season against Torino on Sunday afternoon - taking him level with Harry Kane's Premier League tally.

United have been heavily linked with both forwards in recent weeks and the expectation is that the club will go big for a world-class goalscorer come June. MEN Sport understands that Erik ten Hag has earmarked Kane as the prime target, but Tottenham's resistance could force the club to move on and Osimhen is the likely second choice.

A run of 13 goals in 14 games for the 24-year-old had opened the gap between Napoli and the rest in Serie A to 18 points and helped the Italian side into the Champions League quarter-finals. And with a potentially tricky clash at Torino on Sunday, it was he who stepped up once again.

Osimhen opened the scoring inside nine minutes, rising highest to head home a corner before Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's penalty made it 2-0 at half-time. And the Nigerian was on hand with his head again after the break, leaping to nod home Mathías Olivera's cross from a tight angle.

The brace took Osimhen to 21 league goals for the season and equal with Kane, following the Tottenham striker's one goal against Southampton on Saturday. And United fans took to social media to share their reaction.
