'Deserves a chance' - Manchester United fans send Donny van de Beek message after latest injury update
Donny van de Beek stepped up his recovery from a serious knee injury with the Manchester United midfielder enjoying some ball work in the gym.
Van de Beek clashed with Marco Senesi during the 3-0 win at home to Bournemouth in January, sustaining a serious knee injury that will keep him out of action for the rest of the season. It was only the Dutchman's fourth start of a disappointing campaign compounded by the eventual injury.
The 25-year-old was forced to undergo surgery on the issue at the time, and has not updated United fans on his progress until March when he posted a video of him doing some resistance work in the gym. The most recent post on his Instagram showed some similar work before a final clip of him working with a football alongside the caption: 'It's been a while!'
