'No Watford fan ever' - Hornets supporters worry about Aston Villa trip

Without a win since October and with nine defeats from their last 11 Premier League matches, it’s safe to say Hornets fans are not full of optimism.

Even the sight of their next opponents, Aston Villa, losing to Newcastle on Sunday did not fill them with much confidence.

After all, resurgent Newcastle were one of the teams the Hornets were chasing in their bid to escape the bottom three.

Roy Hodgson’s men are now six points from safety and go to Villa Park on Saturday in hope rather than expectation.
