No trams between Eccles and Media City for three weeks in February

No trams will run between Eccles and Media City for more than three weeks in February, TfGM has announced.

Works are to begin at Weaste tram stop on February 1 and are expected to continue until February 25, meaning the line will be closed.

A bus replacement service will operate across all affected stops (Eccles, Ladywell, Weaste, Langworthy, Broadway and Media City) with tram tickets accepted on this service. Normal tram services are expected to resume on February 26.

TfGM say there are also frequent Bee Network bus services running from stops near each tram stop.
