Nicolas Kuhn reveals the Celtic moment he adored more than his double as red-hot winger lays out his targets

Huge crowds turned up to catch a glimpse of superstar Erling Haaland – but ended up raving about Nicolas Kuhn, writes Michael Gannon in America.

The Celtic winger stole the show in Chapel Hill the other night with a sensational double against Manchester City. Celtic and City fans were wowed by the two superb finishes but it was his sublime pass with the outside of his boot – that came straight from the Luka Modric playbook – that suggested Brendan Rodgers was bang on in January when he was adamant the German had the quality.

Pre-season friendlies can be pretty forgettable but the one the other night in North Carolina will live long in the memory for plenty. Especially by Kuhn. The former Rapid Vienna man is out to make more this coming season though and he reckons that world-class ball that his boss called magical was just a hint of what’s to come.
