NFL Week 6: Patriots QB controversy and a major test for the New York Giants

This week the National Football League enters Week 6 of the 2022 season, and just like any week, there is plenty to talk about.

This week sees us enter the ‘third-way’ point of the NFL season, as we move into Week 6 of the 18 week season, and now the results are starting to mean even more. They of couse meant a lot in the earlier weeks of the season, but now it’s getting into the part of the year where one loss could leave you in a hole that you might not be able to get out of. 

It makes them all the more important because looking at the standings of each of the divisions, there are no teams that are really making any sort of headway to break away and dominate their division for the rest of the season, even the 5-0 Philadelphia Eagles are being nipped at the heels by the 4-1 Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. 

But what does this week have in store for us? Well we’ve broken it down into what we think are the biggest talking points heading into Week 6 of the 2022 NFL season.

Thankfully this is the first week in which the byes kick in, with the Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Las Vegas Raiders and Tennessee Titans all getting some much-needed rest, which makes our job a little easier as there are fewer teams to check up on, but without further ado, here we go:

Well, we kind of have to otherwise it would make the whole thing meaningless. What we have here is the modern-day version of Tom Brady v Peyton Manning, where the winner of the game not only gets bragging rights, but also gets a key win when it comes to how things shape up in the playoff seedings, and this year looks to be no different as Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills travel to take on the Kansas City Chiefs led by Patrick Mahomes, both of who are 4-1.
