NFL: Ranking quarterbacks from 'Elite' to 'Delete'

It doesn’t take a genius to know that the quarterback is the most important position in the sport of American Football.

They are the ones who decide where the ball needs to be thrown, what adjustments need to be made at the line of scrimmage ahead of a play and more often than not have the fate of the game within their own hands, which is why they also happen to be paid the big bucks. 

But just who are the best of the best of the best around the National Football League? 

We did already back in June put together a list of quarterbacks, however that was based on their value when it came to playing Fantasy Football, which is must different to how players are treated when it comes to their legacy.

For instance, how much value do you put on the value of a Super Bowl ring? Does that automatically make you an elite quarterback? And if so does that put someone like Joe Flacco ahead of Dan Marino in the all-time list? And how much of that it put to the players around them rather than the skills of the individual throwing the ball, a point that would help someone in fantasy, but might alter their perception in the real world?

So there are a number of factors that need to go into the list, and as always with these things, they are subjective and everyone is going to have a different one.
