NFL: Best Super Bowl adverts ever

Some of the best TV adverts are produced during the Super Bowl, adding further entertainment to the sporting spectacle.

With millions watching the game from around the world, or at least in the United States, many of the world’s biggest companies will look to make sure that they get some airtime during the NFL match, with organisations having to pay a premium to have the privilege to do so.

According to figures for Super Bowl LVI, which takes place on Sunday if you did not know between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California, a 30-second commercial is rumoured to be going to cost around $6.5 million; an increase of around $1 million on last year’s main event!

Therefore, there is a huge incentive for businesses to try and make the most of the time that they may have been acquired.

We have taken a look at a couple of the best most recent commercials to have been aired during the Super Bowl and we seriously hope that those that are provided in the many commercial breaks that happen during this year’s broadcast live up to the hype.

We know not everyone will agree with each of these, as we are sure everyone will have their favourites, but we thought we would start with a strong contender for everyone:

Budweiser – “Wassup?, True”

Although initially launched in 1999, Budweiser’s “Wassup? True” ad campaign was one that was highly successful and one that was incredibly memorable for those who had managed to see it.

It was shown during the 2000 Super Bowl XXXIV game between the St Louis Rams and the Tennessee Titans; an event that featured Christina Aguilera, Toni Braxton, Phil Collins, Enrique Iglesias and Edward James Olmos as the Halftime Show acts!
