Neymar and Kylian Mbappe gave masterclass in keeping the ball during PSG 5-1 Lorient

Neymar and Kylian Mbappe provided fans inside the Parc des Princes with plenty of entertainment during Paris Saint-Germain’s 5-1 victory over Lorient on Sunday.

The world-class duo netted a brace each in the rout while Lionel Messi also got on the scoresheet.

While some PSG supporters were angry with Neymar following last month’s 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League, performances like Sunday’s are a sure-fire way to get fans back onside.

The Brazilian turned on the style, scoring two goals – the second of which was magnificent.

Neymar produced a glorious nutmeg before exchanging passes with Mbappe and then finding the back of the net.

Mbappe, meanwhile, showed once again why some people regard him as the world’s current best player.

As well as scoring twice, the French forward also set up PSG’s other three goals. This was a 10/10 performance from the 23-year-old, whose contract expires at the end of the season.

Mbappe and Neymar, both full of confidence, gave a masterclass in keeping the ball during the second half against Lorient.

Surrounded by four opponents, the PSG duo combined brilliantly to retain possession.
