Newcastle United vs Everton team news as Targett starts but Bruno and Burn on the bench
Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe resisted the chance to start new boy Bruno Guimaraes in the big clash against Everton tonight.
Howe made just one change to his starting line-up with on loan Aston Villa star Matt Targett named from the start with the Brazil international only named as a substitute.
Having only arrived on Friday and on the back of international travel Howe did not feel the time was right to field Bruno for the full 90 minutes.
The starting X1 also didn't include Miguel Almiron with the Paraguay international's stint on the bench continuing.
And there was only a place as sub for incoming defender Dan Burn who signed on deadline day from Brighton & Hove Albion for £13million.
Despite injury concerns, Joelinton was in from the start as Newcastle looked to climb out of the relegation zone.
