Newcastle United loan watch as Anderson wins again but worrying lack of gametime elsewhere

Newcastle Unite have an array of loaned out players, all of which are vying to secure a bright future whether it is at St James' Park or not. However, the Magpies are unlikely to have been pleased with the fact very few of the players they have sent out actually stepped on to a pitch at the weekend.

The midfielder is currently on loan at Bristol Rovers, who gave their promotion push a boost with a 1-0 away win over Northampton Town. Anderson completed 90 minutes but it was his namesake Harry Anderson that notched the winning goal.

Bournemouth enjoyed themselves in the West Yorkshire sun, securing a 3-0 win away at Huddersfield Town. However, the clean sheet was kept by Mark Travers, who is currently ahead of Woodman in the Cherries pecking order.

Saturday marked Woodman's eighth consecutive league game as an unused substitute and his appearance in the Emirates FA Cup defeat to Boreham Wood remains his only one in a Bournemouth shirt.

Hendrick featured as a 57th-minute substitute for QPR in their 3-1 defeat to Peterborough United. All three goals had been conceded before the midfielder was introduced to the action and he could not inspire an R's comeback.

Wigan cruised to a 4-1 win over Morecambe in League One but Watts watched from the bench as an unused substitute. The defender has made just three appearances across Wigan's last 13 games but the Latics did keep a clean sheet in each of the three games he was involved in.
