Newcastle could look to bring 25 G/A PL star to St. James' Park
Newcastle United target Jarrod Bowen will come onto a ‘few radars’ ahead of the summer transfer window, according to journalist Dean Jones.
The 25-year-old has been in excellent form for West Ham throughout the current campaign and has been linked with a move away from the London Stadium as a result.
According to 90min, Newcastle are interested in signing Bowen as manager Eddie Howe looks to continue the ongoing revolution at St. James’ Park.
The Magpies are expected to have a sizeable budget in order to strengthen the first-team squad following their takeover last year and have reportedly identified the hard-working forward as a top target.
Bowen has been a hugely influential figure for West Ham this season, registering 14 goals and 11 assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.
His outstanding output in the final third of the pitch has fired the Hammers to sixth place in the Premier League table and the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

And Bowen had even been tipped to break into Gareth Southgate’s most recent England squad, yet a fracture in his foot ruled out a possibility of a maiden call-up for March’s international friendlies.
It remains to be seen whether Newcastle follow up their interest with a concrete offer, yet Bowen still has just over three years left to run on his existing contract, leaving West Ham in a very strong position around the negotiating table.
90min also claim that Liverpool have ‘long been admirers’ of Bowen as the race for his signature begins to hot up, with Jurgen Klopp previously labelling him ‘unbelievable’.
Meanwhile, Jones has stated that he ‘can definitely see’ Newcastle making a move for the in-demand
