New Celtic away kit 'leaked' as old school style and eye-catching badge have fans drooling

Celtic fans have been left marvelling at a 'leaked' photo of a potential new away kit for next season - with a retro badge being introduced in a throwback to the simple yet brilliant jerseys of the 20th century.

Celtic kits generally never fail to impress in terms of style and bringing a wow-factor, with the Glaswegian club and their rich history often giving inspiration for ideas that can be taken back to any successful era in their past.

That is exactly what has happened with an image that has circulated on Twitter on Thursday afternoon. A bottle green Adidas away kit boasts a collar, and combined with a slightly brighter shade of green on the collarbone, logo and sponsor, it gives off a retro look. But the biggest change of all is that the club's usual badge has ditched the writing and circular logo style for a simple four-leaf clover.

That suggests that for the first time in years, Celtic may abandon the circular-style badge in favour of a throwback clover look alluding to the Irish history the club prides itself upon. Thee kit has not been confirmed by the club or by the JD Sports website - with the popular retailer being an official partner of Celtic. The photo in question shows the shirt hung on a JD Sports coathanger, though the shirt cannot be found on their website.

Supporters have taken well to the leaked picture. One fan wrote: "Tasty", whilst another confirmed his shopping plans for the summer by stating: "Buy. Would pay more. Hope it's legit!"
