Netherlands handed early Euro 2024 advantage as UEFA sting England for semi-finals

That's because, according to reports, they have snapped up half the ticket allocation for Borussia Dortmund's renowned "yellow wall" stand at Westfalenstadion. The formidable 25,000-capacity terrace is known for overwhelming players from visiting teams, as it has become a vibrant yellow stronghold thanks to Dortmund's avid supporters.

Now, Dutch fans are being given the chance to bathe this stand in their signature orange hues after UEFA resolved to leave England out of the direct ticket distribution process, The Times reports. Although the rest of the stands tickets have gone on public sale by tournament organisers, presenting a slim chance for England's following to claim spots within the infamous Barmy Army will not have a dedicated presence there. This gives Oranje enthusiasts free reign to transform it into an ocean of colour and a cacophony of support for the team.

With Dutch supporters conspicuously present and buoyant throughout Euro 2024, their trademark links rechts or left-right chant has reverberated through Germany's streets, reports the Express. After spurring on their national side to quarter-final triumph over Turkey on Saturday night, they're eager to be the vocal force behind the team once more.
