Netflix adds horror film 'so bad' it has viewers angry just minutes in

A horror film recently added to Netflix has been described as 'so bad' it's had viewers upset just minutes in.

Tarot was first released in cinemas in May, but has only just joined the streaming giant. Despite viewers' complaints, the film is currently sat at number three in the Netflix UK film charts.

Directed by Spenser Cohen and Anna Halberg, it's based on the 1992 novel Horrorscope by Nicholas Adams. The story follows a group of college students who, after using a strange Tarot deck, begin to gruesomely die one by one and must uncover the deck’s mystery before time runs out.

Harriet Slater, Adain Bradley, Avantika, Wolfgang Novogratz, Humberly González, Larsen Thompson, Olwen Fouéré, and Jacob Batalon star in the supernatural horror.

Curious viewers who saw the film trending took to X, formerly Twitter, after watching it. One person asked: "Watching TAROT, and 3 minutes in, this is terrible. Do horror movie fans just have low standards or something because this is one of the like number one horrors on Netflix".

A second agreed: "...saw that the movie Tarot is on Netflix and broooo, no one’s dead yet and this s*** is p******g me off already. Eyes twitching and everything" as third reckoned: "Pretty sure this is just Gen Z’s version of Final Destination."

One viewer admitted: "Watching Tarot on Netflix and even after a few drinks it ain’t hitting" as another said: "This Tarot movie on Netflix is soo bad" as another chipped in: "the tarot horror movie on netflix should be listed as a comedy bc what the f*** am i watching".
