Nathan Aspinall left 'speechless' by Luke Littler after playing darts with teenage sensation

Luke Littler's fellow darts player has shared his experience of a practice session with him, saying: "He absolutely tore me a new one." Nathan Aspinall was left in awe after playing with the young star.

Littler, who was relatively unknown before the World Darts Championship, made a name for himself with an impressive run to the final. Aspinall had the chance to play with him behind closed doors and was taken aback by his skill.

They played a game called 170, where the aim is to checkout the number in three darts for two points, or six darts for one point. Aspinall, who usually fares well in this game, was surprised by Littler's performance.

Speaking to the Metro, he said: "I hope Smithy [former world champion Michael Smith] doesn't see this, but he was a lot better than Smithy. That's the God's honest truth."

"He learned darts at the age kids learn to walk and talk, when your brain is like a sponge. It's second nature to him. I didn't pick a dart up until I was 17, the age that Luke is now, which is mad to think. He's the most natural dart player
