Napoli 'make Kim Min-jae admission amid Manchester United interest' and other transfer rumours

Serie A champions Napoli are reportedly resigned to the fact Manchester United will sign their centre-back Kim Min-jae.

The South Korean defender has been a key player for the Naples club this season playing 45 times. His performances in the defensive position led to many clubs keeping an eye on him ahead of the summer.

One of those clubs who were thought to be interested were United and rumours are now growing about the 26-year-old's future again. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, insiders at Napoli are 'taking it for granted' Kim will be a United player in the summer.

The Italian media outlet adds United are willing to pay the release fee to secure his services. This is thought to be a minimum of €50m (£43m) but will eventually be calculated depending on the Reds' turnover in 2022.

Elsewhere, United will reportedly have to pay £70m if they wish to sign Mason Mount from Chelsea. MEN Sport revealed this week the 24-year-old had reached personal terms with United after advanced talks were held between the player and his representatives.

However, at this stage the club has not reached an agreement with Chelsea about a possible fee. According to Sky Sports, the Reds would need to pay the eyewatering price tag despite the player insisting he wishes to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

It is also claimed the personal terms which have been agreed would see Mount earn £200,000 per week at Old Trafford. Erik ten Hag has outlined how he wishes to bring younger players to the club this summer so he can build for the future.
