Nando's fans ask 'is this real' as huge menu change teased

Excited Nando's fans have asked 'is this real?' after the popular chicken restaurant teased three new items on social media.

Taking to Twitter, Nando's customer @DecruzJemma posted a photo of a menu that featured three new alcoholic drinks - including frozen cocktails and a new beer. The menu reads: "Cocktails. That's it".

There are two refreshing beverages on offer, including a Sunset Slushie, made up of vanilla vodka, peach liqueur, pineapple and mango. There's also the Peri-cante, a frozen slushie with vodka, mezcal, lime and a hint of chilli. Both cocktails are 190ml and priced at £7.95 each.

Portuguese beer Sagres has also been added to the menu and is available on draught or by the bottle. Half a pint is £3, a pint is £5.95 and a 330ml bottle is £4.25.

Captioning the photo of the menu, Jemma tagged Nando's UK and added to side-eye emojis. Nando's responded by quote-tweeting the post and added one set of side-eye emojis.

Nando's fans were in disbelief, with many questions if the addition was even real. Others added that it was a shame the recent UK weather hasn't been hotter, to really make the most of the delicious iced drinks.
