Martin Lewis says 'bye' as he 'signs off' before 'wary' message to fans
Martin Lewis has said 'bye' to his loyal followers but not before issuing them with a 'be wary' message. The Money Saving Expert founder has said he is 'signing off' from the online world as he enjoys a summer break with his with and their daughter.
He confirmed his upcoming absence in a tweet to his 2.3 million followers on the social media platform, recently rebranded as X. Martin, who is now a regular host on Good Morning Britain, said: "Bye for now. I'm signing off for a few weeks to take a break, from social media and work, for a battery recharge."
The 51-year-old, who also has his own show on ITV titled The Martin Lewis Money Show, went on: "I'll be leaving all the MoneySaving, any interest rate or price cap change news in the brilliantly capable hands of the @MoneySavingExp team - while I try and stay radio silent."

It is then when he issued somewhat of a warning, saying; "Meantime pls be wary of criminals who in the past ramped up scam-ads with me in when I'm not posting. And if you spot them, do report them to the platform," before rounding off by saying: "Take care. Martin."
And he was quickly wished well and thanked for all his work. @ChicaInDoha said: "Enjoy your break, Martin and thanks again for all that you do." @shazzoley replied: "Have a good holiday." @LJconservation wrote: "Enjoy your break."
@active4seasons commented: "Enjoy @MartinSLewis, you deserve it. Thank you for all your pressure to help the less fortunate!!" @AndrewHughes809 posted: "Enjoy the well-earned break." @sharonFellows9 added: "Have a lovely break you so deserve it, after all you do to help us, let’s hope you get some sunshine."
