"My information is...": Dutch journo drops huge Ten Hag update, it's bad news for MUFC - opinion

Manchester United are on the hunt for their next manager, with Erik ten Hag the current frontrunner to take over at Old Trafford, although new information has emerged from Amsterdam on the potential appointment of the 52-year-old.

Dutch journalist Freek Jansen revealed that he has spoken to Ten Hag, and it seems that there are still many obstacles for United to overcome in order to secure the signature of the Ajax coach.

Jansen spoke on the latest episode of De Pak Schaal Podcast (quote via Ajax news account @TheEuropeanLad on Twitter) and said: “This week I spoke to several people including Erik ten Hag. Alternatively, the club could offer the Dutchman a chance to become much more involved in that aspect, something on which he is reportedly very keen.
