MUSU restaurant in Manchester already back open after terrifying Valentine's Day raid
A high-end city centre restaurant has re-opened after its windows were 'smashed in' by masked raiders on Valentine's Day.
Diners at Japanese eatery MUSU, on Bridge Street near Spinningfields, were said to have been left screaming in panic as it was targeted on Wednesday night.
One man who was enjoying a meal with his partner said he saw a man in a ski mask holding a bat or pole as items including bricks and cans of paint were thrown through the front windows.

The restaurant said no one was hurt during the incident, and that it was 'working with the police to find out exactly what happened.' Shaken punters were sent home afterwards as staff dealt with the aftermath. They also had to cancel today's lunchtime service.
However in an update this evening (Thursday), they said that thanks to the 'tireless' work of staff and tradespeople they had managed to replace their windows and get the restaurant ready to re-open tonight. They also thanked customers for their support after an 'influx' of bookings.
In a message on Instagram, they said: "And just like that we’re back ready for service. We’d just like to extend our gratitude to everyone for their kind messages of support today following the shocking attack on our business last night.
"We have had an influx of bookings today which hasn’t gone unnoticed, thanks again for your support. Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly throughout the night last night and all day today, thanks to all of you, we are so lucky to have a team like we do.
"A special mention has to go to our suppliers and contractors, who against all odds helped us source and fit our replacement windows with less than 12 hours notice
