Munster's Snyman and Daly ruled out of Northampton Saints clash

Munster have been hit with a double injury blow with RG Snyman and Shane Daly ruled out of tomorrow's Investec Champions Cup clash with Northampton.

Springboks lock Snyman missed last week’s win over Cardiff through illness but was named in the team yesterday.

However, the province today confirmed that the second row "has been ruled out by the medical team due to illness."

Tom Ahern moves up from the bench with Jack O’Donoghue added to the squad.

Winger Daly has also been ruled out after picking up a "knock in training" on Friday. He is replaced by Seán O’Brien with Shay McCarthy added to the replacements.

Munster had initially named experienced prop John Ryan in the squad but his appeal against a three-match ban was dismissed yesterday and he was replaced by Mark Donnelly.

Munster: Mike Haley; Simon Zebo, Antoine Frisch, Alex Nankivell, Seán O’Brien; Jack Crowley, Craig Casey; Jeremy Loughman, Niall Scannell, Stephen Archer; Tadhg Beirne (capt), Tom Ahern; Peter O'Mahony, John Hodnett, Gavin Coombes.

Replacements: Eoghan Clarke, Josh Wycherley, Mark Donnelly, Jack O’Donoghue, Alex Kendellen, Conor Murray, Joey Carbery, Shay McCarthy.
