Mums left devastated after finding baby products ripped apart in supermarkets

Mums have been left heartbroken after discovering baby products torn apart in supermarkets, spoiling a kind gesture intended to help parents.

Being a parent is rewarding, yet it undoubtedly presents its own set of challenges. To express solidarity with other parents, a touching trend known as 'she deserved the purse' has recently gained popularity online.

This trend was sparked by a viral video showing an abandoned $20 (£14.91) glittery clutch bag in the nappy aisle of a Target store in the US. What initially appeared to be a misplaced item was actually a mother's sacrifice of her own desires to purchase items for her child instead. This act inspired others to help out parents by hiding cash and gift cards inside baby products in supermarkets.

However, this trend, often referred to as "the sweetest" on the internet, has unfortunately taken a distressing turn. A mum named Marina recently discovered boxes of nappies, formula, baby bottles, and other baby products torn open in a supermarket as people attempted to find the hidden gifts.

"Can't we just let a good thing be good?" the frustrated woman asked. The TikTok user, who goes by the handle @marinagudov, expressed: "Actually so upset to see grown adults act like this."

The young American woman shook her head in disbelief as she walked down the baby product aisle in a Target store. The damaged products left mums concerned about obtaining necessary items for their children.

One mother expressed her frustration after being unable to obtain medicine for her child due to the recent acts. She left a comment on Marina's video: "Tried to get cough medicine for my toddler last night and they're were all open. I don't wanna use an opened medicine for my babies. I was so angry."
