Multiple roads closed due to crash near Ebbw Vale Morrisons - latest updates

Multiple roads in Ebbw Vale have been closed this morning, due to an incident near the town's Morrisons store.

Gwent Police have advised that emergency services are currently at the scene of a road traffic accident in Cemetery Road, Ebbw Vale.

A number of roads have been forced to close as a result. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and to seek alternative routes.

The incident was first reported at 2:21am on Thursday (February 17).

In a tweet, Gwent Police said: "Emergency services are currently dealing with a road traffic accident at Cemetery Road, Ebbw Vale.

"The following roads are currently closed - Beaufort Road, Waun-y-Pound Road, Bryn-Serth Road and the road outside Morrisons.

"Please avoid the area and find an alternative route."
