Motherwell star called into Republic of Ireland youth squad for Swedish test and links up with former teammate
Motherwell's Ross Tierney has been named in the Republic of Ireland u21s squad to face Sweden later this month.
The young Irish side play Group F leaders Sweden away in the UEFA European Under 21 Championship.
Action takes place on March 29th, with Republic of Ireland four points off the leaders, having played a game less.
Tierney joined Motherwell from League of Ireland side Bohemian in January and links up with former teammate Dawson Devoy on international duty.
He's scored once since his move to ML1, a 90th minute leveller in a 1-1 Premiership draw with St Mirren.
