Mohammed Kudus ‘price tag revealed' amid Manchester United transfer interest plus more rumours

Ajax star Mohammed Kudus would reportedly cost around £48m amid rumours he is interested in rekindling ties with former boss Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.

The Manchester Evening News revealed last month that the Ghanaian is of interest to Ten Hag, who is also keeping tabs on Harry Kane, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and Benfica attacker Goncalo Ramos.

MEN Sport also reported earlier this week that United are targeting a midfielder alongside a goal-getter this summer. Kudus, an attacking midfielder by trade who has mainly been played as a striker this season, has tallied 16 goals this term.

Ten Hag is known for liking versatile players and Kudus offers this, being able to play on the wing as well as centrally. The 22-year-old has scored against Liverpool, Napoli and Rangers in the Champions League this season, finishing the group stages with four goals and two assists in six fixtures.

A report from Football Insider claims that Kudus would be interested in making a switch to Manchester. It moots that the transfer could cost around £48m given he still has just over two more years on his Ajax contract.

The likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle have all been linked with interest, too. Apparently, though, Kudus has told his close circle that his preference is to link back up with Ten Hag with former teammates Lisandro Martinez and Antony fairing well at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, talkSPORT claims Liverpool are confident of beating United to the capture of Mason Mount, who has been linked away from Chelsea this summer following January’s mass influx of players at Stamford Bridge.
