Mohamed Diomande hilariously trolls Rangers teammate Leon Balogun after Ivory Coast AFCON triumph

Leon Balogun was trolled by Rangers team-mate Mohamed Diomande turned after the new signing turned up at training in an Ivory Coast shirt.

It was a tough topic in the dressing room as Nigeria international Balogun watched the Super Eagles lose out in the AFCON Final. Two former Rangers stars in the shape of Calvin Bassey and Joe Aribo featured in the match but couldn't bring glory to their country as the Ivory Coast came from behind to lift the trophy in memorable circumstances after a shock start to the tournament that included a group stage defeat to the same opposition and a 4-0 defeat to Equatorial Guinea.

Despite the early struggles and sacking their manager, they went on to win the competition. But it was all still too early for Balogun as he joked around with new signing Diomande. Uploading a video to his Instagram, Balogun said: "Look at this one, just signing and thinks he can mock me like that! Look at him, you are getting no pass from me today mate [laughs]. Oh my god. He brought Twitter to the dressing room. Look at this guy. Enjoy it while you still can bro. We are training in a little bit, I am back today you know.. bring out your shin guards."
