Mikel Arteta gives the green light for three Arsenal transfers on deadline day

Arsenal's transfer window has not gone according to plan but deadline day can always spring a few surprises.

The Gunners are looking light in certain areas with a little over 24 hours left to do business.

Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu has missed out on several targets including Dusan Vlahovic and Arthur Melo with the former joining Juventus and the latter set to stay in Turin.

Arsenal have identified alternatives but it remains to be seen if they will have enough time to get any deals across the finish line.

In terms of outgoings, the Gunners have managed to reduce their wage bill but without any arrivals, their squad is looking even more scarce.

And there could be even more departures with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang set to leave north London.

Here are three deals that are more than likely to happen on deadline day.

Nikolaj Moller is set to spend the remainder of the season with Eerste Divisie side FC Den Bosch as the striker is set for a loan move to Holland.

The Swede was dubbed 'new Zlatan Ibrahimovic ' during an impressive first season with the Arsenal Under-23s.

It was first thought the 19-year-old would battle it out with Mika Biereth for a starting spot in Kevin Betsy's side after he was recalled from a loan spell from German third division side FC Viktoria Koln.

But it seems he is set for another short-term move with Den Bosch until the end of the season.

Another deal that is likely to go through on deadline day is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Barcelona have emerged as a frontrunner with the striker reportedly willing to join them 'practically for free' as his salary remains a stumbling block the Spanish side will have to overcome.

Arteta has made it clear Aubameyang is not a part of his plans
