Mikel Arteta accused by raging Porto boss of insulting dead relative but Arsenal hit back at claim

In the aftermath of Arsenal's Champions League clash with Porto, Sergio Conceicao, made a serious claim against Mikel Arteta.

He said that Arteta used Spanish to insult a family member of his who "is no longer among us". However, this allegation has been firmly denied by Arsenal. "Mikel Arteta turned to the bench during the game and insulted my family in Spanish," claimed Conceicao. "At the end, I told him that the person he insulted is no longer among us.. "Let him worry about training his team, which has more than enough quality to play a lot better", he further added. However, Arsenal strongly refutes Arteta would say such a thing.

Now, Arteta's squad will have an extended break until their match against Manchester City scheduled for March 31. Moreover, they will learn the identity of their quarter-final opponents in Europe, with the draw planned for Friday. It was a tense match in North London, with both managers Artetea and Conceicao as well as players from both teams getting yellow cards. Did Arsenal deserve to win?

This isn't the first time that Conceicao has claimed a rival manager used inappropriate language towards him. Previous Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel and current Manchester City
