Miesha Tate shows off weight loss transformation ahead of UFC flyweight debut

Miesha Tate showed off her weight loss as she prepares for her UFC flyweight debut joking ‘I’m shrinking’.

The former UFC bantamweight champion treated MMA fans to her incredible body transformation on Facebook.

Tate, 35, showed off her shrinking frame in a black crop top with a light grey pattern on it.

She paired that with black and white shorts that highlighted her trim figure.

Tate added a splash of colour with her striking purple and gold hair.

The former TUF star, who won the latest season of Celebrity Big Brother after appearing on the CBS reality TV show last year, looked slimmer than ever in the new photo.

She captioned the post: “I’m shrinking…..

“Oddly enough I knew making flyweight (125lbs) was going to require my body to change, but yet going through the process has still been surprising at every turn!!

“July 2nd it’s ON!! Me vs Lauren Murphy UFC 276.”

Tate, nicknamed Cupcake, will make her return to the Octagon against perennial contender Lauren Murphy.

The fan favourite’s clash with the Arizona native will feature on the main card of UFC 276, which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 2.

However, that doesn’t mean she is officially done with 135lbs.

Last year, the Celebrity Big Brother star admitted that she will probably go back up in weight at some point as she says she has unfinished business.

“It’s something I’ve definitely thought about, but I definitely don’t want people to think that I’m running at 135,” she told MMA Junkie.

“I hate the idea of leaving a division on a loss, it really bugs me.

“Something really bothers me about that, about leaving the division on a loss.

“It’s something I’ve thought about, but at the same time, I feel like I need more time to digest all of that.
