Michael Beale's Rangers tactic to ensure injured men aren't 'easily forgotten' amid bulging treatment room
His injury room is piling up and Kemar Roofe has explained Michael Beale's Rangers touch to keep those injured included.
Rabbi Matondo's six-week lay-off with a knee problem is the latest issue for the boss to contend with, as fresh scrutiny is placed upon him after an unconvincing win against Motherwell. Matondo joins Danilo, Todd Cantwell, Nicolas Raskin, Kieran Dowell and Tom Lawrence in the treatment room, with a Viaplay Cup quarter-final against Livingston to come on Wednesday.
Striker Roofe has spent a large chunk of his Rangers career out injured but has been featuring more regularly this term, and he has praised Beale's method of keeping players who aren't available around first team plans. He's been through his own personal fitness battles but the ones his peers are enduring, he believes, will be made easier by the manager's tactic. Roofe said: "The (injuries) I have had have been very challenging.

"It is in the past now and I will keep working hard on the pitch and with my gym programme. When you are not on the pitch you can easily feel forgotten about, but the gaffer has been great with all the injured boys keeping them part of the group.
"We have three wins and three clean sheets from our last games. In these runs of back to back games, the result is the most important thing. I see the pressure here as a positive and use it as fuel moving forward. It's all about playing football and winning games for me. It is why I train and work so hard. I love putting on the shirt and playing for our fans."
