Michael Beale issued Rangers plea to END Chris Sutton spat as Kenny Miller insists there's 'bigger fish to fry'

Former Rangers star Kenny Miller has urged Michael Beale to "draw a line under" his feud with Celtic hero Chris Sutton.

The former Celtic striker Sutton earned a furious response from the Ibrox boss after questioning if he would have given the green light for the Scottish Premiership leaders to walk the ball into the net like Partick Thistle following Malik Tillman's controversial Scottish Cup goal. Beale, who refused to name Sutton ahead of the clash with Livingston, described Record Sport columnist Sutton as a “comedy act” and the “worst ever player” to turn out for his boyhood heroes Chelsea.

Sutton has fired back at the boss branding him "thin skinned" over his response to the comments, but Miller has urged Beale to respond the pundit following the clash with Saturday's clash in West Lothian. He insists Rangers have "bigger fish to fry" with the Viaplay Cup final just around the corner and with the club pushing to reach the Scottish Cup showpiece.

Miller told Clyde 1 Superscoreboard: "Firstly, Michael was bang on to do what he did last week at Partick. It was a misunderstanding with Tillman and it was a goal that shouldn't have been.

"You could see Holt was going to kick the ball back to Rangers, as far away from his goal as possible by the way so Rangers had to restart their attack back from Allan McGregor. Tillman has misread it and he has scored the goal.
