Micah Richards lauds Kevin De Bruyne's four-goal show agaiinst Wolves

Micah Richards and Karen Carney couldn't help but sing Kevin de Bruyne's praises after he helped Manchester City beat Wolves 5-1 in their Premier League clash on Wednesday evening.

The Belgium international scored four of City's goals as the Citizens went three points clear at the top of the Premier League table and moved within four points of claiming the title.

Richards said De Bruyne had been 'extraordinary' and that the fixture had turned into a midfield masterclass from the 30-year-old. While Carney expressed her excitement as seeing De Bruyne play alongside Erling Haaland next season.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Richards said: It's was the Kevin de Bruyne show today, it really was.

'Manchester City produce so many opportunities, it's just about finishing them. It's been an extraordinary season.

'With Kevin getting into those spaces, you've got to get tighter to him (for first goal). From a Manchester City point of view it's a brilliant, brilliant, goal.'

Richards went on to speak about De Bruyne's third goal of the evening by praising his ability to finish on his left foot. He said: 'Taking it on his weaker foot. To get everything right is a brilliant finish.'
