Chelsea have suffered yet another blow to their hopes of landing number one transfer target Aurelien Tchouameni this summer.

The French midfielder has been in impressive form for AS Monaco this season who has broken into the France national team and been described as an "extraordinary player" by international teammate Paul Pogba. Reports this week have suggested Liverpool could rival the Blues for the French midfielder's signature – and Manchester CIty appear to have also entered the race.

It comes as Ruben Loftus-Cheek has emerged as a key part of Manchester United's chase for a new centre-midfielder. And Liverpool's Alisson has sent a warning to the Blues ahead of the FA Cup final on Saturday.

And goalkeeper Alisson says the Reds "really want to win" the final and insisted his side "will give it 100 per cent to try to do that".
