Medway Area Sunday League round-up (14/12/25)
Thamesview got their first win of the season in Division 1 of the Medway Area Sunday League.
They beat the team immediately above them in the table, Rochester. Joshua Govier scored both goals in a 2-1 win with Will Samways netting for the hosts.
Sam Small, Reegan Pay and an own goal were the Swanscombe Tigers’ marksmen in their 3-1 win over Medway Town, whose reply came from Leigh Austin.
Division 2 leaders Wigmore Wanderers sit eight points clear after a 7-2 win over New Road Athletic.
Liam Apps, George Hennessey, Kai Wong, Jason Yuen (2), James Lundie and an own goal did the damage while New Road replied through Jordan Rogers and Jason Whittaker.
Jack Dye (5), James Hurcomb (4), Jonatham Oliveira, Ton Donald and Harry Oldham were on the scoresheet in Strood Reserves’ 12-2 victory over The Co op Cobras, for whom Kai Evans and Tagen Jarvis netted.
Inter Rainham are up to second following a 4-1 success over The Stumble in Division 3.
Jordan Reynolds scored for Stumble but Terry Phillips and Aaron Lorentson both scored twice for the visitors.
Caleb Rodrigues (3), Ronnie Wratten, a Brian Shaw penalty and Pat Heminway were all on target in Anchorians Rovers’ 6-1 win against Hempstead Valley, whose reply came from Harvey Squires.
A Connor O’Shea-Raza brace plus a single by Dominic Lingham saw the points to Omega 92, 3-0 winners over Kent Marina.
