Louis Collins scored a hat-trick as Ashford United’s upturn in form under new boss Craig Stone continued.

They won 4-2 at Kent rivals Margate in Isthmian South East to climb to 10th in the table.

Ashford, 2-0 victors at Jersey Bulls on Tuesday night, made it three wins in a week.

Collins put the visitors ahead just before the half-hour but Ibrahim Olutade levelled on the stroke of half-time.

Collins restored Ashford’s lead on 56 minutes and completed his hat-trick with 11 minutes left.

Joe Taylor scored his first goal since joining Margate from Ramsgate but the grandstand finish didn’t arrive as Oli Bate made it 4-2 in the fifth minute of stoppages.

Faversham Town let a two-goal lead slip as they were held 2-2 at home by AFC Whyteleafe.

A crowd of 1,202 took advantage of Faversham’s ‘free-entry’ offer and they saw Kieron Campbell’s opener doubled by Tommie Fagg five minutes before half-time.

But Leafe hit back with two goals in four minutes from Ryan Gondoh and Daniel Bennett to take a share of the spoils.

Sevenoaks made it four wins in a row with a 4-2 triumph at home to bottom side East Grinstead.

Warren Mfula scored a first-half brace and Hanson Itauma made it 3-0 at half-time.

Dan Thompson pulled one back but Jefferson Aibangbee made it 4-1 before Ridwan Euba scored for East Grinstead midway through the second half.

The Swale derby between Sittingbourne and Sheppey United was postponed along with Herne Bay’s trip to Deal, Erith Town’s match with VCD and Beckenham’s game at AFC Croydon Athletic.

Cray Wanderers’ excellent campaign under boss Tim O’Shea continued as they produced an impressive 4-1 win at Brentwood in Isthmian Premier.
