Medway Area Sunday League round-up (10/09/23)

Holders Quested eased past Star Meadow in the opening round of the Medway Area Sunday League’s Senior League Cup.

Sam Stace scored a hat-trick, with Fjord Rogers (2) and Harry Lester also on target in a 6-3 win over a Star side who replied through Ryan Bushell, Tom Leon and Tom Ball.

Cliffe Woods Colts, last season’s runners-up, were 3-0 winners over Swallow Rise 93, thanks to Robbie Summerhayes, Adam Bush and Joe Reynolds.

Borden Park Wanderers edged Rainham Kenilworth 10-9 on penalties following a 1-1 draw.

Rochester had Charlie Larter (2), Alex Longhurst, Alfie Montague and Sanjeev Sureshkumar to thank for their 5-2 win against Rainham Kenilworth 2.
