Medway Area Sunday League round-up (05/10/25)

Cup action dominated the weekend programme in the Medway Area Sunday League.

In the Senior League Cup group stages, a hat-trick from Tom Benham plus a strike by Tom Carter saw Athletic Bilbowls defeat Grain 4-1.

Jamie Reeves and Nathen Holt were the Cuxton 91 marksmen in their 2-1 win over Wigmore.

Eagles lost 3-0 to Strood, who scored through Josh Brown, Jacob Poulter and Jack Harper.

Sam Stace and Fjord Rogers goals were not enough for Quested as they lost 3-2 to Medway Invicta, Samuel Shobande (2) and Michael Shobande were their marksmen.

In the first round of the Junior League Cup, Josh Igwe, Charlie Larter (2) and Grant Laker netted as Rochester won 4-2 over Eagles Gold, who replied through Tom Tingley and Cain Sales.

In a game of 10 goals, Caspian Tigers came out on top winning 6-4 thanks to Lennon Diamund (3), Fin Grundy, Tyler Cornelian and Loz Funny against New Road Athletic, whose goals came from Ollie Selby, Lee Pearce, Danny Davies and Ronny Whittaker.
