McDonald's to make big changes to menu from this week

McDonald's is adding six exciting items to its menus across the UK this week.

As well as the return of McDonald's Monopoly, the fast food franchise will be serving up its Big Tasty and Big Tasty with Bacon burgers from Wednesday, September 6. The 100% beef patty with bacon, cheese, onions, juicy tomatoes and a unique smoky flavoured sauce, is a huge fan-favourite, but isn't available on the menu all year round.

Also joining the menu will be the Mozzarella dippers, complete with tangy tomato dip. Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy a Cadbury Flake chocolate McFlurry or Cadbury Flake raspberry McFlurry.

To mark the beginning of autumn, a caramel waffle latte is also joining the menu - a latte blended with a caramel waffle flavour syrup and topped with caramel cream and caramel sugar dusting, bringing up six new menu items in total.

And six seems to be the magic number, as the Big Tastys will only be available for six weeks, until Wednesday, October 18.

The new additions mean some items will have to leave the current menu. Fans will have to say goodbye to the items that joined the menu on August 2 - including the BBQ Quarter Pounder and Cheesy Garlic Bites. McDonald's is also axing the Caesar and Bacon wrap, and the Mozzarella bites.

McDonald's is also bringing back its popular Monopoly promotion on Wednesday. The return of the double peel means McDonald's fans have an even better chance of bagging prizes - which this year includes £100,000 and a TUI holiday worth £2,000.
