Matty Peet urges Wigan Warriors to become 'addicted' to success

Matty Peet wants his Wigan Warriors players to get ‘addicted’ to the feeling of reaching and taking part in major finals. The Warriors secured their spot in the Challenge Cup final on Saturday afternoon as they edged out St Helens 20-18 in a thrilling semi-final clash at Elland Road.

Liam Marshall scored two tries on the day, including a decisive length of the field effort in the second half, while Cade Cust and Liam Farrell also managed to touch down to book the Cherry and Whites’ place in the showpiece event at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. “There’s no point working so hard for something if when you get there it’s not fun, it’s important that we do celebrate but it’s only a step, isn’t it. We’ll be judged on how we perform in the coming weeks in the final and then we move onto the next one, it never stops, you have to keep going and if we, at any point, take ourselves too seriously, we’ll get turned over.”

He added: “I always say that we have to accept winning
