Matt O'Riley Celtic Champions League claim causes Hotline hilarity as Rangers 'natural order' cry ridiculed

Matt O'Riley's belief that Celtic could win the Champions League was lost a bit in translation as it was couched with an admission it wasn't beyond the realms of possibility.

That hasn't stopped some Hotline callers taking the Hoops star at his word and it's certainly lightened the mood of some fans. Rangers don’t have the money that Celtic have but he’ll do well." George Monro, said: "I'm a Dunfermline fan but how about a return to Celtic as boss by Brendan Rodgers with Neil Lennon as his assistant? Rangers would be shaking in their boots."

John Melrose, Edinburgh, said: "It's a very delusional take from Hotline caller
